For Store to Abode Fridays, we take one of our items from the store, and give you ideas on how to use it in your home.

Vintage fans are beautiful and were built to last.  You can still find them in great condition {many still work, just be sure to get them rewired & watch your fingers} at flea markets, yard sales, and at vintage shops like The Old Lucketts Store.

What a great accessory for your home.  Here are some pretty pieces we love.


Here is the inspiration photo I took a few weeks ago at The Old Lucketts Store.  What a great vintage fan - love those metal blades.  Before they were purchased, this fan and pedestal combo belonged to our dealers Jennifer {1st floor, dealer code JDH or OWL} and Marian {1st floor, dealer code MSI}.

And here are some pretty fans for you!

{1}  Fans look great together in a collection.  Just a few pieces grouped together can really fill up a space and give you a unique look.

{2}  Two favorites, vintage fans and vintage letters.  This is a nice masculine look for a young or teenage boy's room {just make sure the fan can't be plugged in}.

{3}  Cute fan on a bedside table.  Also a great idea to hang a favorite photo in an empty frame.

{4}  Vintage fans look great when displayed with industrial or utilitarian items like this lamp and soda crate.

{5}  Another great grouping, perfect to display on a sideboard, dresser, or console table.
