It's been years in the making and sooo difficult to work on this blog the last few months while keeping mum about the biggest project we've had going on behind the scenes.
So many things to tell you! So many forks in the road, decisions, and lessons learned these past few months. But let's just start with....it's finally here! Shop Lucketts is our new online store where you can purchase some of our favorite "Vintage Hip" items from the comfort of your own home.
We've wanted to do this for a long time. Customers regularly ask us things like: "Do you ship?", "I don't live by your store, where can I get this item by me?", and "Can I get more of this item?". Now we have some options for you.
Our goal was to mix some customer favorites, fresh ideas from our Design House, and "great stuff we love" and serve it all up online with our signature Lucketts Vintage Hip style.
I can't tell you how much work has gone in to this project over the last few months. From selecting the product catalog, ordering products, selecting a warehouse and shipping company, building an online web store from scratch, to working out all of the online graphics, photography, and policies... it can make your head spin. We've had some bumps, some redirects, and some challenges arise at the last minute, but we're still smiling and we all still like each other....so I think we're doing just fine!
We have stories to tell, but those can wait. For today, we wanted to start slow and get our feet wet and present Shop Lucketts to you. We realize this is a learning process for us and we're expecting feedback and tweaks along the way. Mostly we want to thank you all for jumping in the truck and taking this ride along with us.
