I was able to sneak in to the Design House before the storm. While I can still tell you there is some work going on to get things ready, there was a lot of eye candy!
I fell in love with the decorated trees.
Here are a few closeups of some of the holiday bling...
This tree is on the first floor and the light was streaming in the room. A group of friendly black bears were seated around the room having a little chat. This tree had a natural feel with lots of red and green --- glittery ball ornaments, red and green presents, and a green gauzy ribbon garland with metallic thread woven throughout the tree.
This room upstairs is all about red and white together. The branches and ornaments are all kissed with snow. Tree decorations include beautiful fern-like sprigs, ribbons, berries, squirrels, and red and white flowers.
Upstairs there is a celebration of the green and blue combination. Metallic leaves, white peacocks with streaming feathers are clipped to the tree. A wonderful variety of ornaments in all shapes and sizes and colors ---- iridescent blue, green and silver colors.
The metallic toned poinsettias on this tree draw you right in. On closer inspection, you'll see delicate nests, angels, and all sorts of flowers and leaf shapes, some with the look of old script parchment paper.
Here is a box of bling ready for the tree.
What is your favorite color combo or tree so far?
